Discounted Perfume Testers

Is it acceptable to give perfume as a Christmas gift that is not BNIB (brand new in box)?

Someone bought a load of discounted perfume from a department store that went out of business. They were out of the box and some had the missing peaks. Most were used tester bottles. Is it acceptable to give these to family for gifts? I say there's a reason why the items on Ebay that are selling BNIB for a higher price.

I would give them with vertices (whatever broken or not) as a gift. I would like to find a box to put in which has a beautiful indoor coverage, then invoke the break down just now coming out of the car! The highest would not while currently very poor and would not earn you favors. KD
